Adobe AEM |Platform Consolidation

 

Whilst already one of the top Academic institutes in Australia, the long-term strategic vision of achieving the coveted status of ‘Top 50 Global Universities’ by 2025, propelled our client to adopt an enterprise-wide platform solution. 

At the end of 2018, following nearly a year of scoping exercises to understand the size of the undertaking and negotiations, the University has partnered with Adobe’s Experience Cloud. The partnership which offers access to an entirely new set of ‘digital tools’, has allowed our University client to focus on digital experience transformation from it’s fragmented and complex digital ecosystem into a single-view platform and improve digital experiences for various stakeholders across the board. 

To enable this transition, a significant multi-year technology rollout plan was devised and then progressively implemented.

The Challenge

The implementation of the new framework across the entire digital environment presented both a considerable technological and operational challenge.

Our Adobe Experience Manager Solution Architects were called on to this project from its very early beginning and planning stages. Embedded in the core internal team, Technocrat devised a strategic plan to enable us to provide informed long-term solutions. Technocrat worked collaboratively with our client in architecting the methodology for the implementation of Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Marketing Cloud products with an emphasis on AEM, Adobe Analytics and the Adobe Digital Marketing products.  

The priorities set in the first phase of the implementation project included the deployment of the new technology to increase the number of students recruited from overseas, working with the Division of Philanthropy to increase donations as well as with the Division of Enterprise to build better industry collaboration and student participation in the entrepreneurship programs.

The Process

At the end of 2019, the first rollout of this considerable undertaking was released to the public with great success. As strategic partners, Technocrat continues to work closely with the University to continue the digital transformation to its completion.
